SLEEPING WELL IS IMPORTANT IF YOU TRY TO LOSE WEIGHT

Melatonin is a powerful hormone, which is widely known for her relationship with 24-hour circadian rhythm - our biological clock that is regulating the hours of sleep and the alarm time so that the cycle is to maintain a normal sleep.

It is a natural hormone of the body ruled by the pineal gland at night. The synthesis and secretion triggered by darkness and off by light. The concentration in the blood reaches the highest levels just before bedtime at night to encourage sleep and lower levels of the early morning hours to stimulate the awakening. Sleep 7-9 hours to relax is crucial to efficiently helps cell regeneration and maintenance functions of the night and help create an organization that has rich energy reserves.

A new study shows that melatonin also has control and metabolic functions which determine the accumulation of fat and thereby helps in preventing cardiovascular disease. Researchers from the University of Granada stated in a report in the Journal of Pineal Research that melatonin helped to control abnormal growth of body weight without reducing food intake.

The researchers divided 10 subjects into three groups of which take as a dietary supplement melatonin. And found that this group observed a significant reduction in body weight with no difference in the food they ate.Additionally determined that melatonin has helped in reducing systolic blood pressure, improved blood lipids, decreased triglycerides and oxidized LDL cholesterol and promoted the production of HDL cholesterol - the improvements in the proportions of blood lipids reviews to improve the overall risk of heart disease.

Melatonin other than the normal production of the body at night, can also be found in certain fruits and vegetables such as Goji berries, almonds, sunflower seeds, cardamom, fennel, coriander and the cherries.
